Proteins are required for growth, nutrition and repair of the body cells and are an important aspect of nutrition and are important as an eating healthy tip. An adult male requires about 55 gms of proteins per day and a female 45 gms. One should ensure that the protein consumption is from low fat foods like chicken and turkey breast, egg whites, lean beef, mutton and ham and fish. The vegetable proteins are available in soy products, seeds, nuts and pulses and this is one of the healthy diet tips.
Apart from carbs and proteins the body requires fats, vitamins and minerals for healthy eating. It is advisable to eat fats that are unsaturated, but do not avoid fats altogether as they are required for the smooth running of our system. Vitamins and minerals are available in fruits, vegetables, legumes, cereals and milk. Vitamins A, B, C, D and E are the essential vitamins. Our daily diet should include all these nutrients in the proper ratio to have a healthy and strong constitution and to be able to withstand stress and strain and infections.
